two Cockatiels, sex unknown, the bird with the yellow head is very friendly and the other is very shy and likes to stay in his cage. I am only trying to find a new home for these birds because i had to go back to work and they are not getting the time and attention that hey need. Wings are not clipped at the moment so they will fly. They prefer to be together and will squawk for each other when one is removed from the cage without the other bird. They both can do the Wolfe whistle.

Barney. Has not been worked with much and needs taming. I don't have the time to work with him and would like to see him with someone who can. He is around 19 yrs old. He has always been around dogs and isn't frightened by them. He actually mimics them sometimes. He can be noisy at times.

These two male birds are looking for a happy home together. The dark gray bird is a beautiful morning singer and tries to imitate sounds and language. They preen each other and appear to be inseparable. They eat fresh vegetables weekly and love toast. Large cage and food included.

I have an amazon that is in need of anew home. I got her for our family and she just does not like living with us. I know she can be very sweet,I seen it when I went to get her, However I think our house is to much for her we have three children and I believe that makes her to nervous so she has been acting out aggressively. However I am using the clicker training on her and that is going well but I believe it is in her best interest to have a calmer home. I am more than happy to explain her previous living situation the best I can, so if interested please feel free to ask any question you can think of. She is not a plucker and very content just sitting in her cage. She does talk but since coming to live with us she isnt talking as much as she had been with her previous owners. Pics available upon request. I really want to find her a forever home. Thanks. the adoption fee is only what I have in her not asking to make any money. (Less)

|PIease Read Before Adopting a Bird in Ohio|
Birds can make good pets in Ohio if they match your IifestyIe. Exotic tropical birds such as Parrots and Cockatiels, as well as Finches, Doves, Pigeons, and other varieties, are often kept in captivity as beautiful and interesting pets. Unfortunately, many owners may not know how to care for their birds properly, while others experience life changes that may leave their pets without a suitable home. Captive birds can suffer from nutritional deficiencies, psychological stress, and many other problems when they do not receive proper care. Many wild exotic birds are endangered as a result of the international pet trade. Non-profit bird sanctuaries provide homes for some birds for whom their owners can no longer provide care. However, many more of these birds need to be adopted by committed owners who have taken the time to thoroughly understand what it takes to care for the birds. A person who is ready for the responsibility of owning a bird should seriously consider adopting one rather than buying a new one.
